About Us

We are dedicated to helping the fight against the rising issue of knife crime in the UK by raising awareness of the dangers of both carrying and using a knife.

Using our own real life experience, we educate young people on the immeasurable impact knife crime has on the victim’s family and friends, and the wider communities.

Through education, awareness and community engagement, we aim to break the cycle of knife crime and create a safer UK where young people are empowered with the knowledge, skills and support to make positive life choices.

I remember getting the phone call from Martin whilst we were on holiday in Tenerife, a phone call that I will never forget saying that his beautiful son Charlie had been stabbed and was fighting for his life in a Sussex hospital.

At that moment everything  had changed for my friend Martin and his family, nothing would ever be the same again. As you have read Charlie was a normal, fun, cheeky young man with his whole life ahead of him. He was not part of a gang, instead he loved spending time with his mates, play football and do normal things a 17 year old lad would do only for it to be snatched from him by someone that thought it was a good idea to go out with a knife.

Having seen the devastation first hand we as a business and myself from a personal stand point wanted to do something, anything to help Martin and his family in their darkest moments.

Therefore we are proud to support this amazing charity, bringing light into an otherwise very dark world of knife related crime. Having 3 children of my own, 2 of which are in early teenage years it is a subject very close to my heart and as a parent if there is anything I can do to help the fight back against knife crime I'm very keen to do so, supporting this amazing charity is only the beginning.

Please take 5 minutes to read the story about Charlie and how the charity set up in his name 'Charlies Promise' is fighting back against the pandemic that is knife crime in the UK.
